Elemental

We really like poetry and, since it is nice to share what one likes, here is a piece that makes us think of Parrsboro.
Enjoy!

Elemental

a shell inside a rock

a shell inside a rock

a shell inside a rock

about the size of the center of a rose

a perfect spiral of gleaming white

enclosed by the black stillness of earth

the whispery echo of the ocean in the shell

surrounded by the silence of the stone

a conglomerate forged beneath the sea

an ancient cohesion

an endless embrace
