WHEN: Monday & Wednesday Evenings from 7pm -9pm (June 3rd, 5th, 10th and 12th, 2013)

INSTRUCTOR: Lawrence R. Nicoll

This is an in-class basic digital photography course. It will be held at Main & Station for two hours per evening over 4 evenings (a total of 8 hours). 

Aimed at beginner to intermediate photographers, this course is for anyone who is interested in learning to improve their skills and gain a better understanding of both photography and their camera. Automatic settings will be covered but those with camera settings such as A/Av & S/Tv (for Aperture and Shutter control) will receive the most benefit.

Topics covered include: composition, the histogram, focus & exposure lock, speed and aperture, what are they? What automatic settings do, disagreeing with the meter, use of filters and flash photography basics.
