MEET THE ARTIST

Bill Liebeskind has been working for the past three years on a series of paintings titled TODAY.  The paintings use newspaper photography as a departure point.  To date, Liebeskind has made 2,000 paintings, working in New York and at artist’s residencies in Nebraska, Missouri and here in Parrsboro.  There is so much beauty in the world.  A sunset, a flower garden, the morning tide.  Liebeskind looks for the beauty in people as they move, interact, and often struggle to find a place in the world.
