Novick’s newest collection of poems and stories called “Voice Yoga Now” is published by One Thousand Trees, in Guelph, Ontario.
Honey Novick is a singer/songwriter/voice teacher/poet. A member of the League of Canadian Poets, Writer’s Union of Canada and Poetry in Voice. Nominated by her MPP for Poet Laureate of Ontario, Novick has had 8 recordings and 10 chapbooks published. The Stop Community Centre awarded her 2024 Outstanding Neighbor. Novick earned her 5th Gerstein Legacy Fund award in teaching Voice Yoga. She is an artist in residence for the Friendly Spike Theatre Band and directs Liter-art-I and Womanvoice.

He is also the esteemed co-founder of the Secret Handshake Gallery in Toronto’s Kensington Market, Canada’s first and only peer-support facility for people with schizophrenia.
In 2024 bissett was awarded the Order of Canada.
